Dear Dr. Rennings and Marni,
Words cannot express how very grateful we are to you both for your caring and compassion in helping us deal with our dear Bubba’s illness and passing.
We could have never gotten him to our regular vet and your house call service was such a blessing. It spared him and us too, much anxiety that the hospital visit would have caused.
Your beautiful card that arrived a few days later was to touching and comforting — once we got past the tears. I’d never heard of the “Rainbow Bridge” story before and it’s so beautiful that I am sharing it with our family and friends who have lost their beloved pets.
It was very hard to let Bubba go and, of course, we’ll never forget him — but having to say “good bye” in our own home, in familiar surroundings, helped make it so much easier on us all — if that’s possible.
Dear Marni was experiencing her own pain from her recent loss and yet she was able to so reassuring and kind. We’ll never forget you both for being there and in such a loving way.
Thanks you again; you both are very “special” people.
Your friends,
The Savage Family
Maryann, Bob and Marcella and Bubba too, of course!
Carin and Marni,
Thank you for being so understanding and thoughtful. After combing through so many vets and getting the run-around, begging for help from so many, you guys were the light in the darkness. Thank you for not judging Lijah’s personality and greeting him with love and respect. We could see it meant so much to him. He wasn’t put off or scared. He was completely at ease. The card you sent came at just the right time. We had been thinking of you. His light has given us comfort and strength. You have a gift to put whosoever is in your presence at ease and comfortable. You are the vet we wish he had all his life. Thank you for being that vet. And thank you for making Lijah’s exit so beautiful.
With our sincere gratitude,
Tracey Allen & Ron Edwards
Dear Carin and Marni,
I wanted to tell you how much I appreciated your tender, compassionate care of Tipper, Maggie and Quincy at their transitioning to the next place. As hard and painful as this process is, you both brought dignity and grace to the experience which has made all the difference to both Hank and myself.
We both also felt ourselves supported by your loving care and for me, I am using it to help me get through these difficult days.
Thank you so, so much,
Jennifer and Hank Stanton
Dear Dr. Rennings,
My husband and I want to take this opportunity to thank you for the outstanding care Home Veterinary Service has provided for our cats these past 10 years. Since you’ve been our Vet we are able to have all our “boys” seen during one visit instead of making numerous car trips to get yearly shots and exams. There is literally no stress for us or the cats.
Last year was indeed sad for us since we had to have Hobo and Jake put to sleep. You and Marni treated both cats with tenderness and dignity. This made their many years with us all the more special.
Thank you so much,
Sam and Rhonda Turner
